Dal 2024 sono Professore Associato di Filosofia Medievale presso l’Università di Messina, in Italia. Prima di questo incarico, ho lavorato come ricercatore in diverse università europee, principalmente a Porto (Portogallo), Lovanio (Belgio), Berlino (Germania) e Durham (Regno Unito). Ho scritto ampiamente sulla storia dell’ilemorfismo, in particolare sulle concezioni della materia e della materia prima nella tradizione scolastica e oltre. Altri lavori si concentrano sull’interazione scolastica con la filosofia islamica ed ebraica, sulla storia della scienza e sulle traduzioni medievali.
